The Dreamer & The Realist

My name is Andrew Berg. I’m a follower of Jesus. I’m married, I work in campus ministry, I live in Central PA. I have two kids.

I’m a dreamer.

As a Christian who follows Jesus, I dream of a perfect world, where all human beings are honored as being made in the image of God. I dream of an end to war, of suffering, of grief.

I’m also a realist.

As a Christian, I see the brokenness of the world around me. I see that there are no easy solutions to the problems of our day. Sometimes you have to pick the lesser of two evils (or at least it certainly seems this way).

This blog is an attempt to wrestle with these two dynamics. Some of the posts will be more on the dreamer side. Others will be more on the realist side. Either way-you are invited to join me on the journey.
